Finding the real Betika site

Fake casino sites exist. Here is how to make sure you are on the real Betika.

How to recognise the official site

The official address of the casino is https://betika-zmb.com/. Links in ads and messages are riskier than typing the address yourself. Paid ads are not a guarantee that a site is genuine.

At the bottom of the page. The licence number, ALSI-112310012-FI5, is listed there as well. Launched in 2019. Licence and operator are covered in more detail in our review of Betika.

Check for the padlock. Look closely at the domain for extra letters or swapped characters. Fake sites look rough. If anything looks wrong, close the page before entering any data.

If the site does not open

Depending on where you are, the main domain may not open. Only the casino itself can confirm a working address.

Only the operator can say which addresses are genuine. Trust only links from support, the newsletter or your account messages. Mirror lists on random websites often hide clones. Keep the confirmed address in your bookmarks and avoid searching for it.

If the main address does not open

Work through these points:

• Ask support for the current official address
• Unofficial mirror lists are best ignored
• Restart the browser or try another network
• Use the bookmark you saved earlier

Phishing and clone sites

Fake copies imitate the look of the real site to collect your data. They often spread through messages, social media posts or ads promising unusual bonuses. If a bonus sounds too good to be true, it probably is. What a genuine code looks like is explained in our promo code guide.

Any message asking for your password is a scam. The same applies to one-time codes sent by SMS or email. Let support know about fake sites so they can warn others, with as much detail as possible. Our support guide lists the official channels.

Entered your login on a suspicious page? Change the password on the official site immediately. Activate two-factor authentication and inform the team. Card or wallet details entered on a clone should be reported to your provider.

Account security

Turn on two-factor authentication. A second factor stops most attacks, even if someone learns your password. Never reuse the password from your email or social media.

On a computer others use, log out and do not save the password. Updates to the phone and browser makes the device safer. Use mobile data or a trusted network for banking.

Now and then, check your account activity. If you notice a login or payment you do not recognise, change your password and contact support immediately. Support works 24/7 through live chat, email and phone. Keep the email address linked to your account secure as well, because it is the key to password resets.

Safe installation

The genuine Android app comes from the casino site itself. Downloads from third-party sources can contain malware. When in doubt, check with the team before installing. Installation is described in our Android app guide.

A home-screen shortcut to the mobile site is a safe alternative to any app. It is one of the simplest anti-phishing measures. The mobile version has a guide of its own. Keep your bookmark current.

Avoid add-ons and programs that claim to predict games or unlock extra bonuses. Such software can read what you type, including your password. Game results cannot be influenced by software on your device.

Safety checklist

Run through these points whenever you are unsure. Look at the domain, padlock and footer details. Use bookmarks or official links from support.

Turn on 2FA, use a unique password and log out on shared devices. Share no passwords or codes, and tell support about the attempt. Play responsibly and set limits in your account. Good security lets you enjoy the games without worry. Report any doubtful copy of the site to the official team, and the team can act against it.
